Crypto Profit Calculator
The Meetcrypt crypto profit calculator works out real, fee-adjusted profit, loss, and ROI on any spot trade — Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, BNB, XRP, ADA, DOGE, MATIC, LINK and 20+ other supported coins. Pick the coin from the dropdown, enter your buy and sell prices, your trade size, and the fees you paid on either side. The calculator returns net profit, ROI percentage, the total fee drag, and a Use live button that drops in the current market price so you can model a sell-at-market exit with one click.
Most free coin profit calculators skip the fees and just multiply the price delta by quantity. That's fine for a back-of-envelope sanity check, but if you actually trade — making the same round-trip ten or a hundred times in a month — the missing fee column adds up to a real number. This calculator is the one we use ourselves for daily PnL.

How it's calculated
Profit equals (sell price − buy price) × amount, minus your entry and exit fees. Skipping fees is the most common mistake; even a 0.1% fee on each side meaningfully bites into thin-margin trades. ROI is then profit divided by total cost (including the buy fee), expressed as a percentage, which lets you compare trades of different sizes on equal footing.
If you bought in multiple tranches, your effective cost basis is total dollars spent ÷ total coins held; plug that average into the buy price field. The dedicated DCA calculator does the multi-buy math for you if you'd rather not blend by hand.
Worked example
Buy 2 BTC at $40,000 with a 0.1% fee, sell at $48,000 with a 0.1% fee. Cost basis is $80,080 (entry + $80 buy fee). Proceeds are $95,904 (exit − $96 sell fee). Net profit is $15,824. ROI is roughly 19.76% — a tighter number than the naive 20% gain you'd see ignoring fees.
ETH example: buy 10 ETH at $3,000 with a 0.1% fee, sell at $3,600 with a 0.1% fee. Cost basis is $30,030. Proceeds are $35,964. Net profit is $5,934 on ~19.76% ROI. Same shape as the BTC trade because the fee structure and price-move ratio are identical — exchange-agnostic math.
Coin Profit Calculator — every supported asset
The coin picker covers Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), BNB, XRP, Cardano (ADA), Dogecoin (DOGE), Avalanche (AVAX), Polkadot (DOT), Chainlink (LINK), Polygon (MATIC), Litecoin (LTC), Uniswap (UNI), Cosmos (ATOM), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), NEAR Protocol, Arbitrum (ARB), Optimism (OP), Aptos (APT), Sui (SUI), Injective (INJ), Celestia (TIA), Sei (SEI), Aave (AAVE), Maker (MKR), Pepe (PEPE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), TRON (TRX), Fetch.ai (FET) and Render (RNDR). Live prices come from Binance and refresh every 60 seconds. If your coin isn't in the list you can still use the calculator — set buy and sell prices manually and the math is identical.
Crypto Gains Calculator vs Crypto Loss Calculator
The same formula handles both gains and losses — there's no separate calculator. If sell price is below your fee-adjusted break-even, the profit field goes negative and the ROI percentage shows your loss as a negative number. That's how a real loss is denominated: the dollar amount you're down, plus the percent of cost basis you've lost. The break-even calculator is a useful companion if you want to find the exact sell price at which you exit flat after fees on both sides.
Bitcoin-specific and altcoin-specific variants
Bitcoin gets its own dedicated page because BTC searches dominate the long tail and Bitcoin holders typically want defaults that fit their position sizing (six-figure round-trips, halving-era fee tiers). For DCA-style averaging-in across multiple buys, use the DCA calculator. For futures-style leveraged positions where liquidation distance matters, use the leverage and liquidation calculator. For tax-time FIFO matching across a year of trades, use the crypto tax calculator. All of them reuse the same fee-adjusted math model — Meetcrypt picks the right tool for the question rather than cramming everything into one form.
FAQ
How do I calculate crypto profit?
Profit = (sell price − buy price) × amount, minus any buy and sell fees. For example, buying 2 coins at $1,000 and selling at $1,500 gives a $1,000 gross gain; subtract the trading fees on both trades to get your real, net profit.
Does this calculator include trading fees?
Yes. Most calculators ignore fees, which overstates your gain. Meetcrypt subtracts both your entry and exit fees so the profit, loss and ROI shown match what actually hits your account.
What is the difference between profit and ROI?
Profit is the dollar amount you made or lost. ROI (return on investment) is that profit as a percentage of what you put in: ROI = profit ÷ total cost × 100. ROI lets you compare trades of different sizes fairly.
Does it work for any cryptocurrency?
Yes. Pick any coin from the selector and enter your numbers. The math is identical for Bitcoin, Ethereum, altcoins or stablecoins.
How is profit calculated when I bought at different prices?
When you average into a position, your cost basis is the total amount spent divided by total coins held. The calculator uses that blended cost basis so partial buys at different prices are handled correctly.
Can Meetcrypt track my real profit automatically?
Yes. Connect your exchange or wallet and Meetcrypt tracks live, fee-adjusted PnL across every position automatically — no manual entry.
